Capturing GVs around the Loch Ness with a range of shots incluing panning / reveal / low to water shots then onto vehicle tracking.
The darkly comic story of the Nessie hunters who camped out on the shores of Loch Ness throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Featuring an international cast of dedicated scientists and extraordinary eccentrics who chased, but never found, the dinosaur-like creature who may live in the depths of the loch. The film shows how the absence of concrete evidence and the allure of fame gradually tainted the once-serene Loch with frustration, egos, and broken dreams.
A range of shots were needed for this documentry style film, A day was spent filming from the mainland the areas around the Island to show how close to the mainland the island was.
We then headed out on a fast rib to the Island where i was to do some tracking shots of the rib coming in and landing on the island.
This was an exciting project that involved recording interviews around the north west Highlands and then a boat trip out to Anthrax island for a final interview and reenactment of dark harvest commandos taking soil from the island.
We utilised the Inspire 2 to document and raise awareness about invasive plant species that threaten our native ecosystems. We managed to capture stunning visuals, showcasing the danger that invasive plants pose to our local flora. Our aerial and close-up footage, captured with precision, tells the story of these botanical intruders and the impact they have on our environment
The National Trust of Scotland commission me for filming and editing a view they wanted to advertise the work they have been doing in Project Wipeout.
Film the harmful effects of Ponticum in Scotland and illustrate how NTS are turning the problem into a solution.
This project would involve a range of autonomous flights being setup prior to the starting of the project.
Then a visit to site each month to run the same flights and also capture some manual operatred flights to show the progress of works.
The project has made a massive improvment for the village for both tourists & residents.
Just finished filming Looapallu music festival then it was down the west coast to film with the Discovery channel who were making a documentary about micro nations.
Capturing footage around Dry Island, this small island on the west coast of Scotland was a great challenge.
The North Highland Initiative commissioned us to create a video showing what the north Highlands of Scotland have to offer. Showcasing a relaxing time escaping to the Highlands.
Filming was to be over four days traveling around the Highlands, however the weather really did not want to play ball and with a tight deadline, we had 100% cloud cover for three of the four days so filming was intense to try and capture as much as possible.
Filming including both aerial and run and gun handheld gimbal starting in Inverness up the west coast and finishing on the east.
